Skype Classic is BACK. For now.

After public backlash due to the "discontinuation" of the Skype for Windows Desktop that we know and love due to a security issue with its installer, Skype Classic is back with version 7.41.0.101.

Many Skype users still favor the Classic Skype rather than the Half-baked, Snapchat clone NEW Skype. Many users were  not pleased upon the news earlier this year that the vulnerability with the Skype Classic installer won't be fixed to put focus on their costumer-hated NEW Windows desktop client. Due to insistent public demand and to losing loyal customers to other services. Microsoft has fixed the issue and released an update to Classic Skype. However, it is not yet safe to presume that they will continue support for Classic Skype in the near future.

If only ALL features, settings (especially the advanced ones) and Desktop API support are in the NEW Skype then perhaps the backlash would not have been that severe.
